THE STORY
So, Jen introduced me to Sloan, her colleague and assistant in her wedding planning business, Piper & Sloan Weddings. They were in the Bay Area working together on a wedding in Napa Valley. Sloan was looking for a classic band for her fiance and soon-to-be-husband for their upcoming wedding in Texas in August–just six weeks away! I asked her a few questions about style, metal preference, and budget. From there, I sent her a wide 7MM ring sizer to confirm Nolan’s sizing so that we could move on to production asap in order to meet her fast-approaching wedding deadline.
Sloan and Nolan decided on a 14k Gold wedding band with a half round profile, conform fit, and a script engraving on the inside of the band.
After the ring was made and polished, I provided font options to Sloan and Nolan for the custom laser engraving. They went with a classic script font with a special message for Nolan to see on their wedding day: “I’ll love you forever - Sloan”
THE FINAL PIECE
This forever classic wedding band was just one of the many thoughtfully curated objects in Sloan and Nolan’s impeccably elegant and romantically colorful wedding day, including their blue, blush and lavender florals and Sloan’s iconic powder blue multi-tiered gown and Nolan's green suit. You can tell this girl is a professional: She managed to curate an event that was all at once a timeless classic and enviably, effortlessly fresh.
